On Wednesday, I started becoming ill while at work. I was able to make it home, but eventually, was so sick that I blacked out while in the bathroom and woke up on the floor. Thank goodness I did not close the bathroom door when I was in there, as I was able to call for Puebla's help when I woke up. My call for help (my "Help Me" cry that I use with her when I need her) was a weak one, but she still was able to hear me over the sound of the T.V. in the family room. She came flying into the bathroom and I was able to instruct her to "find the phone". Now both my cell phone and portable home phones were on the family room sofa along with the remote controls to my T.V. and VCR. Puebla was not phased by this. She promptly came back with my home telephone. I needed her to bring me my cell phone, as my numbers are stored in that one, so I commanded her to "find the phone" again and hoped for the best, hoping she wouldn't be confused in thinking that she just brought it to me. In a matter of moments, she came back with my cell phone. I cannot tell you how lucky I am to have her. I was able to call my family and the paramedics and get the help I needed. As it turns out, I was hospitalized until yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. I just don't know what could have happened if I hadn't had Puebla. She is so amazing. Happy Tails is amazing!!!
