I purchased a nine week old German Shepherd puppy from a Gilbert AZ. breeder. Ellie May was just a big ball of fur and overly energetic. We went through puppy school and passed our Canine Good Citizen test. I enrolled in Happy Tails with Ellie and as time went by, I noticed that Ellie would often nudge me - always in the same place on my left side. Having epilepsy, I have no warning of oncoming seizures. I realized that shortly after Ellie would nudge me I would have a seizure. After Ellie alerts me, I go lay down and then she brings me a pillow for my head. We were certified with Happy Tails Service Dogs as team # 7.
